一, Size standard
1. N standard model: Carton box packaging usually adopts N model standard, that is, length, width and height are three numbers of the outer box size, such as N35×25×20. It should be noted that the size should ensure that there is no too much space left in the box after loading, so as to avoid collision of goods during transportation.
2. Negative tolerance: Before the design of the box size, the tolerance of the size should be confirmed. The size and shape of the goods may be slightly larger than the carton box size, so the carton box size needs to be designed with appropriate negative tolerances.
二,Material specification
1. Corrugated cardboard: Corrugated cardboard is a commonly used material for carton box packaging, and its thickness should be selected according to the weight and plasticity of the loaded goods. In general, the most suitable thickness is 3~7mm.
2. Kraft paper: Kraft paper is similar to leather, with good tear strength, water resistance and abrasion resistance, and the tensile strength can be improved after wetting. However, kraft paper is more expensive and generally not suitable for large quantities.
三, Load-bearing capacity
1. The weight capacity of the carton box should be selected according to the weight of the goods loaded. Excessive loads can cause deformation, breakage or compression of the corrugated cardboard, which can affect the protective function of the carton box.
2. The safe working load of the load-bearing capacity of the carton box is generally 2 times. For example, if the weight capacity of a box is 100kg, the maximum working load in actual use is 50kg.
四,Top seal
1. Sealing tape: The sealing tape should be of appropriate thickness, high fastness and strong weather resistance to ensure that the sealing is firm and will not come loose during transportation.
2. Packing tape: Sealing tape is not suitable for large boxes, large boxes should be fixed with packing tape.
五, Internal filler
1. Cushioning material: Cushioning material is a kind of filling inside the carton box, which is used to reduce the vibration of the goods during transportation and avoid damage to the goods due to impact. Common options for cushioning materials are bubble wrap, styrofoam, compressed cardboard, and other materials.
2. The contents of the box should be sealed as much as possible to avoid excessive gaps during transportation.
